Abbots Stone is a Cone 6 midfire brushable glaze with stone is a dry matte, variegated glaze that mimics the look and feel of raw clay and natural rock. It fires to a muted grey-beige tone that shifts softly over form, revealing sandy breaks and tonal variation across edges and textures. On its own, it’s quietly rugged—when layered, it becomes a powerful base for reactive contrasts.
